I’m not too sure about these two, to be honest. Steven Moffat has no doubt managed to write a playful, enjoyable Comic Relief skit—which is where the problems start. A Comic Relief skit is probably not the place to start over-analyzing, and it’s not the place to show terribly significant things happening, next-series-wise. (Moffat did say that The Thing That Amy Wanted to Talk to The Doctor About would come back in Series 6, though.) Anyway, I can’t deny that watching this has left me with a rather uncomfortable feeling. Namely, the one where you just sit there, stare at your screen, and go, “And?” Continue reading
